Born: Dublin Ireland
Educated at Willow Park, CBC Monkstown Park and College of Marketing and Design, Parnell Square, Dublin.
Married with 2 children.
In a diverse career in the world’s most competitive property market I have been directly involved with more than 2,500 property transactions.
After moving to London in 1984 I was soon involved in residential estate agency in Camberwell and quickly blossomed to become a highly successful branch manager for many of London’s top residential firms.
In the past seventeen years I have developed branches for a number of companies including Mann and Co., May and Philpot (latterly Chesterton Residential), Prudential Property Services, Woolwich Property Services, Kathini Graham, Anscombe and Ringland, well known auction house, Edwin Evans and ludlowthompson.com.
At the height of London’s highly competitive property boom in the eighties, I managed the most prolific Prudential Property Services in the country, it being ranked number one in Britain for number of properties sold per negotiator in 1988.
Among other roles in London’s property market, I ran one of Britain’s most profitable branches in 1992 as Senior Branch Manager for Woolwich Property Services.
I have also been responsible for the sales departments for Kathini Graham in Knightsbridge, Anscombe and Ringland in Battersea, and for well-known London auction house Edwin Evans for five years.
During a career dealing with all negotiations involved with both the selling and purchase of property in London, I have also been consultant to a number of national building firms on market requirements for new build and refurbishment for both sale and rental.
I have been involved in all aspects of residential marketing including refurbishment/development for sale and rental and marketing of flats and houses both for sale and rental.
I have also privately bought and sold several properties over a number of years, an experience which has helped me identify a definite need for a buyers agent specifically for buyers from overseas.
